Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore invites applications for two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions in a DRDO-funded research project on high-temperature refractory high entropy alloys. The deadline to apply is April 6, 2025.

| Tenure | Up to 30 months or till project completion |
| Job Description | Development and characterization of BCC refractory high entropy alloys (RHEAs), including phase evolution, mechanical properties, corrosion & oxidation studies. |
| Essential Qualification | M.Tech/ME in Metallurgical & Materials Engg./Mechanical Engg./Materials Engg./Nanoscience & Engg./Nanotechnology/Production Engg./Manufacturing Engg. (First division required). OR Master’s in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science (First division required). Candidates who have defended or will defend their thesis in AY 2024-25 are eligible. Preference for NET/GATE qualified candidates. |
| Desirable Qualification | Experience in Physical Metallurgy, Mechanical Metallurgy, Materials Characterization, Solid-state physics, and Basic Electrochemistry. |
| Age Limit | Max 28 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC) |
| Fellowship | ₹37,000/month (first 2 years) + HRA, ₹42,000/month (third year) + HRA |
| PhD Opportunity | Eligible candidates may be considered for PhD admission under FA category as per IIT Indore MEMS department criteria. |
