• Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number for online registration.
• Minimum qualification as per UGC Regulation-2018 and any subsequent amendments.
• Pay Scale as per latest UGC revision:
  • Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
  • Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
  • Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
• Application Fee: ₹1500 for General category; ₹750 for SC/ST candidates. Payment must be made online and is non-refundable.
• Applicants must fill out the online form carefully and submit a signed hard copy along with required documents to:
  The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014, Assam.
• Hard copies must be submitted separately for each post, with the post name and department clearly mentioned on the envelope.
• Proof of application fee payment and NOC (if applicable) must be enclosed.
• Submissions should be in the prescribed format; unpublished works should not be enclosed.
• Eligibility, including qualifications and age limit, will be assessed as of the application closing date.
• Incomplete applications or those missing the application fee will be rejected.
• Candidates in employment must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. Advance copies are accepted, but the original with NOC must reach within 10 days of the deadline.

• Meeting minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. The Screening Committee’s decision for shortlisting will be final.
